I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Just want to touch base with you all.
First we won’t have our next assignment until late August or early September for Heidi’s book Must Love Vampire’s which is scheduled to be released in October 2011. She has just finished writing it and will start polishing it soon!! I know I can’t wait!!
Next she will have a book out before then. She has just turned in edits for her June 2011 Silhouette Desire~ Her Little Secret, His Hidden Heir. While we won’t have to do much to promote it, we will still want to get some word out and create a dungeon worthy buzz about it.
Here are somethings you can do to help over the next few months to continue to promote the books that Heidi has out there currently, specifically The Bite Before Christmas.
1. Carry bookmarks with you everywhere! Anytime you see a Heidi book in a book store that doesn’t have a bookmark in it~put one in it! It doesn’t have to be Bite, just put it in any Heidi Bett’s book you find whether it’s a Chicks with Sticks trilogy or her latest Silhouette Desire, Inheriting His Secret Christmas Baby.
2. Don’t forget to add “Good Read” stickers to any of Heidi’s books that you find that don’t have them on there.
3. Turn Heidi’s books cover forward at bookstores. Don’t worry, most stores don’t mind if you do this and there is space. If you think they might mind, introduce yourself to the manager and let them know you loved this book and you think others would too. Ask them if it’s okay to turn the book cover forward. Booksellers want to sell books and and most are more than happy to help promote authors customers recommend.
4. If you haven’t and can…write a review for Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble or other bookselling site that allows reviews.
5. Don’t forget libraries!! They love to give out bookmarks. Share a few with them too!
Remember, if you need more~ just ask!! If Heidi has them she will make sure you get more.
